This page will provide instructions on how to create a new incident in the Situational Awareness Viewer (SAVE).
The user must have the appropriate role and permissions to create new incidents

In SAVE, click the Incidents button in the upper left corner of the screen to display the Incidents List.

Click the New Incident button.

Search for a location by entering an address or coordinates to use for the new incident or click “Point on Map” to click on the map and select the incident location.

Select the preferred Incident Kind from the drop-down list.

Select the preferred Incident Category from the drop-down list.

Adjust the Reported Date if needed.

Enter any other data on the form as needed.

Click Save. The incident will be created. The incident will appear at the top of the Incidents List and an incident icon will appear on the map.
