A Distribution Line (DL) is the portion of the electrical grid that delivers electricity from Substations to end-use customers (homes, businesses, and facilities). A DL typically operates at medium voltages, or lower voltage than Transmission Lines (TL).
These lines are commonly found on utility poles along streets or sometimes underground.
