Measure Tool

The measure tool gives you the ability to measure both distance and area.

Measure a Distance

To measure distance:

1. Click Map Tools in the Application Bar

2. Select Measure

3. Select Distance tab

4. Select Units

5. Click on the map to start adding points to measure the distance

6. Double click to complete the measurement

The drawn distance will be displayed on the map, as well as the total distance measured.

To clear a measurement click Clear Measurement.

Measure an Area & Perimeter

To measure distance:

1. Click Map Tools in the Application Bar

2. Select Measure

3. Select Area tab

4. Select Units

5. Click on the map to start adding points to measure the area

6. Double click to complete the measurement

The drawn area will be displayed on the map, as well as the total area and perimeter measured.

To clear a measurement click Clear Measurement.
