View Forecasts

Integration with Wildfire Analyst Enterprise gives you access to real-time weather prediction and risk forecasting data. Use the forecast tool to view these forecasted fire conditions.

Viewing A Risk Forecast

1. Click Forecast Tool in App Navigation bar

2. Select Risk as the forecast category

3. Select Hazard Type

4. Select Risk Variable

5. Use the forecast player to view and cycle through the risk forecast

Viewing A Weather Forecast

1. Click Forecast Tool in App Navigation bar

2. Select Weather as the forecast category

3. Select Weather Variable

4. Use the forecast player view and cycle through the weather forecast

Animate the Forecast

Click to animate the forecast. You can also use the and buttons to cycle through each timestamp of the forecast. Alternatively, click and drag the time slider to select a specific timestamp.

The Day and Time section will show you the current date and time you have selected in the forecast timeframe.

Adjust how quickly the animation jumps to the next timestamp by clicking 1x, 2x or 3x.

Adjust Forecast Transparency

To adjust the transparency of the forecast, use the transparency slider or enter a value.

Pin Forecast On Map

By default forecasts are only shown on the map when the Forecast Tool is open. To keep a specific timestamp from a forecast on the map with the Forecast Tool closed, you can Pin the forecast on.

Select the time step you want to show, then click Pin next the the top of the forecast panel.

To Unpin the simulation, click the pin again.
