Programmatic Removal of WFA
This method allows the user to remove WFA Desktop using the built-in uninstaller, then check for any remaining folders or output files. Use this method when:

the app still appears in your installed apps
-
the uninstaller launches normally
-
you want the fastest removal path

Open Windows Settings
Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps. -
Find the WFA application
In the installed apps list, locate the client (e.g. Wildfire Analyst Pro)
Client name may vary.

Run the uninstall
Select the dropdown next to the app and choose Uninstall. -
Verify the installation folder
Open File Explorer and browse to the WFA install location, for example:
C:\Program Files\WFAEnterprise\Check that the files have been removed. The application should also have disappeared from your installed apps.

Review local app data
Open:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\WFAEnterpriseData
If you want a full cleanup, remove this data after confirming you no longer need saved settings, caches, or project-specific local data.
Manual Removal of WFA
Remove WFA manually when:

WFA still appears installed, but uninstall fails
-
the uninstall executable is missing or broken
-
you need to fully clean up a damaged or partial installation

Remove WFA Desktop from your Program Files
Delete any folders under:
C:\Program Files\WFAEnterprise -
Remove WFA Desktop from installed app tray
Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Right-click the client (e.g. Wildfire Analyst Pro) and click Uninstall. You may need to enter admin credentials. If an error occurs stating that the application has already been installed, click Yes. -
Delete desktop shortcuts
Select and delete any WFA shortcut from your desktop. You may need to enter admin credentials. -
Delete WFA from search results
Browse to:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\ProgramsSelect and delete the client (e.g. Wildfire Analyst Pro) folder there. You may need to enter admin credentials.

Review local app data
Open:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\WFAEnterpriseData
If you want a full cleanup, remove this data after confirming you no longer need saved settings, caches, or project-specific local data.
