Use this tool to show the values of layers on the map in a specific user-defined location. Only layers that are drawn on the map can be identified.
To use the identify tool, follow the steps outlined below:

Select the Identify Tool in the application bar

Select a layer from the Select Identified Layer menu

Click on the map

Press X to dismiss the tool
Only layers that are toggled on will appear in the identify tool to select.
