2026 Wildfire Planning Update

The 2026 Wildfire Planning update focuses on user experience improvements across layout, navigation, data display, and export to make the application faster and easier to use. The new design is consistent with the Technosylva Operations web platform, allowing for a seamless experience between products. New metrics dropdowns enable faster selection of appropriate data, while in-app information explains metrics definitions, and updated table and map functionality allows for improved data interrogation. During the beta phase, users can toggle between the old Planning interface and the 2026 update.

Authentication & Account Management
App Settings & Preferences

  • Settings panel with light/dark theme toggle, default layout selection, and language configuration

  • Org-specific translations loaded per client across all supported languages

Map

  • Reference layers panel with three-section dropdown (Real-time, Area Reference, Historical Fire Perimeters), tooltips, and scrolling

  • Metadata popup on map element selection

  • One-click zoom to extent to show all assets with buffer

  • Collapsible floating legend with color gradient blocks

  • Metric title badge displaying the selected map metric

  • Client assets rendered on map, segmented by type, year, and operating company

Data Table

  • Asset data table with infinite scroll, column reorder/sort, row selection, and map panning on asset selection

  • Metrics dropdown with separate multi-select (table) and single-select (map) menus, including composites, risk metrics, and percentiles

  • Drag-and-drop column reordering with locked columns (Asset Name, Asset Type, Opco)

  • Simultaneous display of Expected ("E.") and Conditional ("C.") risk metrics

  • Auto-dismissing notification on new metric column addition

  • Configurable zoom level for circuit and segment detail

Search & Filtering

  • Asset search by name with debounced, case-insensitive filtering and results dropdown

  • Toggles to filter by risk type (Expected/Conditional), asset type, year, and operating company

Data Export

  • Sidebar and top bar updated with logo, theme colors, and navigation per new designs

  • Layout controls for table/map split, full map, and full table views, with adjustable panel widths and pop-outs

  • Layout toggle repositioned to bottom of sidebar with tooltip

  • Popups simplified to display one metric at a time with two-decimal precision

  • Map extended to fill full container width

  • Segments become visible at a higher map zoom level than before

Data Table

  • Table redesigned with larger default width, increased row density, and refined borders and headers

  • Tooltips added to Opco and filter column headers
