The aggregate tool allows you to draw a new shape that partially overlaps an existing polygon and merge it with that existing polygon.
Shortcut: Shift + A
The start and end vertex of the new extension has to be inside the existing polygon.
To use the Aggregate tool, follow the steps outlined below:

Click the Open Transformations button on the Mapping tab.

Select the polygon to aggregate

Select the Aggregate tool

Draw a shape around the polygon where you want the new area to be added.

Double left click to finish drawing.

Click Save
